Have no fear, Tebow will be back to practice on Monday.
He was held out of practice as a precaution because of a sore back.
Look at it this way, Tebow will be ready to play, and Brantley, and even Haden, will get in a few more practice reps.
Gator Sports update:
It’s not like he needs the work.
Florida held out quarterback Tim Tebow from contact drills this week because of a sore lower back.
Tebow is “fine, 100 percent,” coach Urban Meyer said Saturday.
“He has not missed practice at all,” Meyer said. “He has been held out of live situations against the defense, mostly to get (backup) Johnny Brantley reps. His lower back was a little sore.”
It’s not a disc issue, Meyer said.
The 2007 Heisman Trophy winner will be back to full speed in practice Monday, Meyer said.
