"I've lost a lot of weight this season," Meyer said. "I just have to take better care of myself. It's been a tough season. A great season, but a tough season."
Meyer said he did have some chest pains before checking into Shands Medical Center early Sunday morning. He was treated for dehydration and released Sunday afternoon, a UF official said.
"I'm doing fine," Meyer said. "I'll be OK. We just have to find a way to win this bowl game and that'll be 26-2 over the last two seasons. That's pretty good."
