Quote of the Day
"Different than Mark, different than Mark," [Jeremy] Kerley said at the NFL Pop-Up store on 41st today. "(Tebow's) ball comes out a little bit stronger, but he's accurate, he's more accurate than what I thought he was going to be. But he's a good dude, he has a great personality, he'll bring a lot of personality to the team."
Maybe Tebow has found another No. 11 to throw to. And, no, that's not Tebow in the 15.

Tebow to play on special teams?
It does make sense, in a way. Every punt could be a fake. It would be a lot for a defense to handle.
Instead of rotating QBs, why not have them both in together. We wanted to see it with Tebow and Newton, but seeing Sanchez and Tebow in together might be fun as well. Either way, it seems like the Jets are interested in being creative.
Ryan wants to have Tebow on the field for 20 snaps a game, and as Peter King writes in today’s Monday Morning Quarterback, those snaps could include in a spread offense anywhere on the field, in goal-line situations, on two-point conversions, and maybe even using Tebow as the personal protector on the punt team.

Ryan said last week that his view of his top two quarterbacks is, “Tim Tebow is a good football player. Mark Sanchez is a good quarterback.” Tebow may get a chance to prove he’s a good football player at more than one position.

Tebow named to Time 100 List
Tim Tebow has been named to Time's 100 Most Influential People list. The description was written by Jeremy Lin, also named to the Time 100 list.
Watching Tim Tebow play football, you can observe many things about his character. You see his fierce competitiveness, his strong work ethic and how he is a leader that his teammates trust and respect.
But it is the qualities that Tim, 24, embodies in his life off the field that truly set him apart. He is unashamed of his convictions and faith, and he lives a life that consistently reflects his values, day in and day out. Through his foundation, he constantly reaches out to people and communities in need of hope. He realizes what he has been blessed with and seeks to help those who are worse off. As athletes, we pour our hearts into winning games. Tim is a reminder that life is about much more than that.
Lin is a point guard for the New York Knicks

Tebow and the Yankees
As you probably all have heard, Tebow and Dwayne Wade were at the Yankees game Sunday night. Was he "Te-booed" or not still remains a question. But what we always love are the crowd shots. Check the guy's reaction sitting next to Tebow.
It's just a matter of time before the disaffected New Yorker comes around to our way of thinkin'. You know it's true. And you never know, maybe Tebow could become a two sport player. Stranger things have already happened, so why not?

Tim Tebow Foundation Weekend
By all counts, the 2nd Annual Tim Tebow Foundation Celebrity Golf Tournament was a success.
A Key West couple bid $100,000 to spend a day with Tebow.

A Key West couple bid $100,000 to spend a day with Tebow.
"It was very humbling, and you don't necessarily feel worthy," Tebow said Saturday after the golf tournament's conclusion at TPC Sawgrass. "That day I feel like I've got to do a few extra things to be special, you know? I've got to try to be a little bit better."
Erik Dellenback, the executive director of the Tim Tebow Foundation, said there was some initial disbelief when the bid was made, then suspicion -- until he found out who had made the bid. Even though it's a couple that has donated to the Foundation before, Dellenback was still a little confused until they told he and Tebow of their plans.
"They live in a part of town that has a lot of people in need and a lot of people with a lot of wealth, and she felt like bringing Timmy to her town down there would maybe change the town," Dellenback said. "It sounds like she's going to have a little event where she brings over some of the kids who are in need and some of the kids who are pretty deserving.
"I got goose bumps thinking about it because that's what the night was. You thought (the bid) was for one reason -- which you worry (because) you think, 'Why is somebody paying $100,000?' -- and then you found out what their motives are and you're just blown away by how God had moved in the room at the time."
Tebow was blown away, too.
"I think Tim was stunned," Dellenback said. "Then I'm sure he went in his head and thought, 'What am I going to do for a day?' But it's great. Now that he knows what he's going to do, he's so excited to do it."

Happy Passover and Good Friday

If you don't know about Passover, you can learn more here. As many readers know, we come from an interfaith background. As Christians, we consider Jesus to have been the Passover lamb sacrificed for all.
Happy Passover and a Good Friday to us all.
